Add A Quiz To Your Site Or Social Media Platform

You may have noticed, people live on their devices, I know I feel like I’m missing an arm without my cell phone. 82% of buyers research you online before they take action, be it buying your product or service or calling you to schedule a demo. This means your digital presence has to be up to snuff.

There are lots of great ways to help generate leads through your website. Having someone opt in by giving you their “almighty” email address can be very powerful. Previously we posted about subscribe boxes and pop up email collection apps but there are tons of ways to get someone to opt in and make it fun at the same time. One of my favorites is a quiz.

I know it sounds crazy, people liking quizzes, but they can be fun and the best part is…quizzes are killer converters. Adding a quiz to your website or running a new one on your favorite social media platform every (pick a time frame) can be a great way to engage your visitors and followers.  Of course there are a few basic suggestions to follow, but they are easy to implement.

Here are a couple of tips to building a great and fun quiz:

  • Keep it Positive

    • Let’s face it, this is a quiz and it has to be fun.

  • Keep it Relevant

    • Make sure your quiz is relevant to your brand. If you sell sports equipment don’t post a quiz about beauty products.

  • Make it a Trade

    • It’s easy to say, we will email you more details about your results, enter your email _____________.

  • Keep it Consistent

    • Make sure the design fits seamlessly with the parent site.

It can be difficult to think of a topic at times but focus on your consumers, and FAQ’s. If you can, try and center the quiz around solving a problem for one person. Typically, if one person has asked a question, there are others out there with the same concerns.

Above all make a connection with you quiz taker.  Human interaction is important, so at the very least be sure to make your call to action is personalized for each quiz taker. Now that quizzes don’t mean a passing or failing grade, they are actually a lot of fun and very effective for interacting with your target audience.
