Asia Pacific’s largest and most successful carbon trading expo, Carbon Market Expo Australasia 2009, has signed Macquarie, as a platinum sponsor for the event to be held on the Gold Coast in October 2009.
In conjunction with international law firm Baker and McKenzie, Macquarie’s involvement confirms the firm’s commitment to carbon trading and the importance of an industry-wide event such as Carbon Market Expo Australasia 2009.
Macquarie an organisation heavily focused on climate change is proud to be associated with a carbon trading event that will attract over 1000 people from around the Asia Pacific region from Top 500 companies.
"Carbon Market Expo is the number one event for Climate Change in the Asia Pacific and this year given its heightened profile leading up to new legislation will see every major firm in the region attend," confirmed Mellissah Smith, Chief Executive of Marketing Eye.

Carbon Market Expo 2009 is in its second consecutive year and produced the highest attending event of its type in 2008 with over 104 speakers, 1100 delegates, 27 countries and 87 exhibitors over 3 days.
The 2009 event will be held in spring on the Gold Coast from 26-28 October at the Gold Coast Convention Centre.
