Robotic Marketer
Robotic Marketer is a technology initiative developed to change the way marketing strategies are created. For the last few years, Mellissah Smith has partnered with Queensland University of Technology, the recent winners of the Amazon Robotics Competition, to build Robotic Marketer. The platform was designed to replace a team of human beings in the development of marketing strategies, creating detailed plans in minutes rather than months.
Robotic Marketer uses a combination of machine learning, artificial intelligence, big data, scraping and science. Its development draws from more than 200 marketing strategies and marketing workshops, giving the platform a strong foundation of marketing knowledge and strategic insight. By using this information, Robotic Marketer is able to support the creation of marketing strategies that are faster, more detailed and more research-focused.

Robotic Marketer Technology
For more than 14 years, Mellissah Smith’s international marketing firm, Marketing Eye, has developed marketing strategies for clients. These strategies are typically 40 to 50 pages in length and require around 30 to 40 hours of a marketing executive’s time, as well as 20 to 50 hours of a marketing intern’s time. Robotic Marketer was created to make this process more efficient while still delivering meaningful and structured marketing plans.
The project has been completely self-funded. Mellissah decided that her clients and connections deserved access to the best possible marketing strategies for 2018 and 2019, made possible through robot-developed strategy. The intention behind Robotic Marketer is to create strategies that are more in-depth, supported by deeper and more meaningful research, and designed to help clients achieve the highest possible return on investment.
By combining marketing expertise with emerging technology, Robotic Marketer represents a practical application of artificial intelligence in marketing strategy development.
