THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT ATLANTA

On this trip to Atlanta, I interviewed some potential marketing managers who were all very talented and has some great things to offer. One in particular was unique. She has years of experience, a young spirit and her finger on the pulse when it comes to marketing. She also is very good at articulating what businesses need when it comes to marketing – which is a skill in itself.

In some ways, Atlanta, has so much to offer the buddying entrepreneurs of the city and in other ways, it has a certain amount of “hold-back” going on.

A man I recently dated has an awesome marketing company, yet until I suggested it, didn’t use social media as a way in which to offer his clients more value and an add-on service. Now this is marketing!

Another in recruitment, doesn’t use the internet to bring in candidates or engage clients on another level. Didn’t the recruitment industry take this up 10 years ago?

These people are very successful and are doing very well in their businesses – so why change? This is the question many business owners ask themselves – “why change what is working”. The answer is simple. How many big companies have lost market share because they haven’t kept up with the times? I am talking really big ones!
