I Love America

Putting global political issues aside, America is a country of hope and passion. Everyone I speak to has a passion for something that they are happy to share. It’s amazing! Whether it’s for food, for business or for life in general, the passion and pride that many Americans share is contagious and at times mesmerising.

In business, they talk the talk, better than anyone I know. Their voices alone command people to listen. Why else do you think that the most successsful motivational speakers in the world are American? Think Tony Robbins! They lead the way in so many fields because they are not afraid to fail which I applaud. They are happy to talk about when their businesses are going bad, just as much as they are happy to tell you just how well they are going.

When it comes to friendships, they are unique. I love their accents and find their confidence contagious. They take on everything, without a worry in the world and unlike many Australian’s and other nationalities, they openly seek to improve. Many of my friends have therapists, which may sound unusual to the average Australian, but imagine how beneficial it would be to have someone who you go to each week to get everything off your chest. I know I would feel much better and I am sure I would be a much easier person to be around. This sense of improvement is something most people can learn from.

As I said, I love everything American.  Just like I love everything French. They are in a lucky country, just like we are and although similar, are different.

I can’t wait to do more business in America and as long as the Australian dollar stays so strong, it’s going to be one great long-term relationship that I hope never goes out of fashion.
