As one door closes, another opens – that’s the life of an entrepreneur
Some good advice I received was that every minute you spend doing something that you don’t want to do, you are not able to do something that you do want to do. Or, for every minute you spend with someone that is not fulfilling your needs, you are missing the opportunity of being with someone who will.
It was at that moment that I had clarity. Every moment counts.
So, as I reluctantly closed one door, I took one step and opened another. And wow! I mean wow! Behind that door everything instantly became easy. The day became brighter. I felt like the minute I walked in the door, I was the most special person in the room. It is everything that I hoped for and more.
When a door closes in business, we sometimes get caught up in how the door actually closed and what was left behind it. If you take a few steps and maybe it means that it is more steps than you would have liked to have taken – you may find that you are pleasantly surprised. Maybe behind that second door are things that will change your life. That will make your business more successful. That will bring you more money and more opportunity.
Never be afraid to close a door that needs closing and open that next door when it’s right in front of you with gusto. Take risks and live life. Afterall, isn’t that part of what life is all about?
