Why Everyone Should Fail

What ever you do don’t be afraid to fail!

Don’t be afraid to try something new, because you’re scared that you aren’t going to be good at it. As Nike says “Just Do It”! People fail all the time and when they do they only become stronger.  It is because of the mistakes we make we learn what and what not to do moving forward. It goes off the phrase “you don’t know what you don’t know and you wont know until you try”

Fear and insecurities are the single biggest threats when becoming successful. Fear it’s self can significantly paralyze you and your business growth.

It seems so often that we focus on external perceptions of what we should or shouldn’t be doing.

For me, 2016 is about, sharing what I know, giving all I got, and helping others achieve their goals.

I’ve always felt that I’ve lived with abundance, even as a kid I had the sort of personality that led me to help, share, and try to look at the “bright side of life”. But this year I decided to step it up a notch, and actively consolidated my abundance philosophy across all aspects of my life and business in a tangible way.

Here’s how I’m doing it, and you can do it too:

Want To Gain a New Perspective on Marketing?

Working in marketing requires you to be on your toes and knowledgeable about different subjects and ideas. Dr. Seuss once wrote, “The more that you read, the more things you will know.” Reading a book allows you to get a crash course in almost any subject without stepping foot into a classroom.

We love reading here at Marketing Eye, so we put together five books that would help any professional gain some new ideas and perspective.

Can You Explain Your Business To A 6 Year Old?

Albert Einstein once said, “If you can’t explain it to a six year old, you don't understand it yourself.”

If you can’t effectively explain your business...a business in which YOU yourself immerse in everyday, in a few simple words then how are your customers going to understand it? If customers don't understand your business then they sure as hell don't understand the need for your service or product.

The Modern Day Marketing Manager

Great Marketing Managers are a dime a dozen.

A Marketing Manager can be as capable at 24 years old as they are at 40. It's just working out where your business is heading and whether or not your current marketing team can actually take you there or not.

When hiring a Marketing Mananger you should ask these questions:

What I have learnt from my clients

As we close our offices today until the second week of January, I realise that it's time to reflect on our wonderful journey and what we have all learned this year.

We have had the most amazing experiences, namely through our people and clients, who constantly amaze me with their insights, perserverence and determination to kick goals.

Take Risks and Be Brave

As a professional services firm, we started the business hustling. Going to network events, speaking at every opportunity, and using our connections to bootstrap the growth of the company. We even used PR, which put me out of my comfort zone big time.
There isn't a leader in the world that isn't driven. They may not be driven by the same things, but they are still very much driven by something that is extraordinary and takes them to a place where they know that failure is not an option.

The only thing more powerful than a big idea is the team that can see it through.

Many of us have big, huge, gigantic ideas - but how many of these ideas actually see light of day. Statistics show that not many do.

If you are anything like me, you live and breathe ideas and the very essence of your being is celebrating the fact that you are an "ideas person". But an idea is just that unless you do something about it.
