After having a marketing workshop with a client, I realized that there are a few things that are more important than I first would have thought. The first is 'getting backed'.

When people look at you, they don’t just see you. They see your clothes, your hair, your face, and your air. You’ve probably heard the air around you called different things, some call it your presence, others your aura, but I like to think of it as your vibe, which is a little different.

Your presence is how people feel when you’re around them, and your aura is a field of energy that emanates from inside of you. Your vibe is what you send out into the universe. The most important thing about vibes is whatever you send into the world around you is what you get back.This may sound like a bunch of mumbo-jumbo, but it’s important for nearly each aspect of our everyday lives.

Saturday night I attended a 30th birthday party for a dear friend of mine. The theme was nautical. After weeks of racking my brain as to what to wear, my friend and I ended up settling on being Boat Captains.

We had only one hour to spare on Saturday to put a costume together, so we headed to a costume shop and purchased a hat. Cheaper than renting it we decided.
