Entrepreneurship as a Woman

Entrepreneurship can be the toughest gig in the world - especially for a woman. There are many different issues that women face when making the courageous decision to be an entrepreneur.  Most of it, though, is about their mindset.

I was told (by someone I have the utmost respect for) to forget about developing Robotic Marketer. This is theworld's first robotic and AI-based technology that develops marketing strategies in minutes, not months. I thought about it for a nanosecond. I had this moment of being scared and defeated. Then I said to myself "but why should I?". I truly believe that I can do anything I set my mind to - and I'm right.

Entrepreneur Insomnia

Last night I slept for roughly two hours. I laid in bed for hours and hours tossing and turning, thinking about a whole heap of things.

New York, New York... if only you didn't excite me so much! After 20 years or so traveling to New York often throughout the year, I am without a doubt the most excited person that has ever landed. I feel like a child in a candy store, except the store is seriously large and even if I stayed there a lifetime, I would never get to experience everything it has to offer.

I once heard the analogy that starting a business is like solving a Rubik’s cube and it knocked me off my feet with its accuracy. As the words rolled off the strangers tongue in front of me, I was immediately thrown back to a time where I was working in an overcrowded office/house alongside twelve other dedicated twenty-year-old somethings trying to build nothing into something incredible.

Back in 2011, the Georgia Legislature started an initiative that would encourage the growth of small and medium businesses through crowdfunding investments. The new rule change, which is was officially in effect since last month, will allow for SMB’s to get around the previous restrictions of crowdfunding in the state.
