Aside from the fact that I arrived in Las Vegas and was quickly whisked away right up to the hills overlooking Las Vegas to the home of a former NFL player and his wife for champagne, lobster and views that would make anyone envious, the #AdobeSummit is the most exciting event in any marketers calendar.

Reputation in Today's Workforce

The workplace used to be treated with reverence, even when deciding to leave it to pursue other opportunities. The typical exit followed a protocol of courtesy between the employer and employee. That isn’t the trend anymore, and many younger workers will even treat previous companies with spite prior to leaving.

As a marketer with more than 25 years experience, I think I know a reasonable amount about marketing. I've road the waves from typewriter to desktop computer, phone to wearable technologies...but there is one question that I have to remind myself and clients to think about everytime they embark on a marketing campaign or strategy.

Your website is your brand. It is what people think of your company without ever having the opportunity to meet with you, that's of course if they can actually find it through Google searches.

There are few things in life that are a certainly, and even fewer in business. As we navigate through the years of owning businesses or being key stakeholders in a business’ outcomes, we become less and less effective. Not because of our knowledge, but the ever changing dynamics that come with it.
