ReplyI completely agree on this particular point. One thing I remember being taught was the 'Cocktail Party Analogy': In a party, even if you are the smartest and most attractive person there, you wouldn't go around screaming and shouting that you are the best (which is what we usually see businesses do on social media platforms: 1-way traditional marketing strategies).
What you WOULD do is start building up interested conversations and relate to people in an active and dynamic two-way conversations, and THEN people will come to you! This is what is supposed to be adopted by companies these days: focus on transparent and strong relationships with its social media audience!
