Marketing Graduate in Atlanta


As a new marketer in Atlanta, it's a very different world to explore career options. While it is exciting to be starting a career as a marketing graduate or marketing co-ordinator, it can be very daunting. What you have learned at University may not be as applicable to your career as you first thought.

Over the years, Marketing Eye has been most successful hiring graduates who have a few marketing internships under their belt. The reason being is that they have the opportunity to see real life examples of a marketing career. Typically, it is more fast paced than you think it will be, there are always deadlines and to be honest, it's not for the faint hearted. It certainly isn't a day in the life of an actor on The Bold Type or Younger. For a start, no-one talks about things that can get you in trouble with HR, and day drinking went out in the 90's. 
As I’m reflecting my 30-year career in marketing, I find myself pondering about the twists and turns that have defined my path. From typing scripts for my boss on a typewriter to developing cutting-edge marketing technologies. I’ve gained countless valuable insights. While some lessons flowed with ease, others presented formidable challenges. That’s what I believe most entrepreneurs encounter at some point in time.
