First things first… I am not a designer, I am a marketer. However, I know a few things about landing pages from practice and reading, a ton.

Everyone has heard the idea of Keep It Simple Stupid. It is so important with our constant day to day distractions on the internet that we remember to always KISS (imagine eyebrows bouncing in a suggestive way). Having said that, one of the most important places to “dumb it down” is a landing page.
In case you have been living under a rock, the “millennial generation” is adults that age from 18 to 34 years old. This generation has been causing a lot of chaos for marketers and brands alike. With a generation so connected to the world and their cellular devices, how do you reach them? It seems that nothing can captivate their attention. Brands are panicking and the attention span of a millennial is shrinking. Is time running out? Maybe and maybe not.

How To Stay Motivated All Day Long

At 6:05 AM, when that dreaded alarm clock goes off, all you really want to do is stay in bed. Nevertheless, you begrudgingly peel off the sheets and carry on with your day only to overeat at lunchtime and feel your energy levels plummet even more. By 3:24pm you are completely ready to give up on all of your dreams for a 30 minute nap, every, single, day.


My friend, it is time to break out of this cycle. You are merely a mortal, so tiredness is inevitable, but don't succumb to the monotony of routine. Motivation is the best defense against lethargy.

April Fools- Happy Pranking!

Today is April 1st. Everyone knows that means it’s April Fools’ Day or All Fools’ Day. This is a day to “duck and cover” if you work or live with pranksters.

April Fools’ has been a tradition for centuries, possibly dating back to France in 1582. People didn't want to start the new year on January 1st and continued to celebrate it at the end of March/beginning of April. These people became the butt of jokes and hoaxes.

Too Many Options=Bad UX

Hick’s Law points out that increasing the number of choices will increase the decision time logarithmically.


Ok... that sounds complicated, but it’s not. Simply, if you give your users too many choices they often won’t make a decision.


We’ve all seen the person in the grocery store, in the cereal aisle staring into oblivion. There are so many different kinds of cereal it can be overwhelming. The grocery store can be overwhelming anyway, that’s why I won’t walk in one without a list. There are too many choices and it’s easy to stay too long trying to decide what’s for dinner.

Managing Chaos

We all set goals, and strive to make the most of our time. You however, you exceed expectations. You are organized, you are punctual, a true hard worker and then your car shuts down. Your identity gets stolen during the peak of tax season, the plumbing in your home is depleting uncontrollably and your love life conveniently decides to crumble.

Oh how tempting it is to lay in bed in fetal position and compose symphonies of self-pity, but your boss just texted to inform you that your deadlines just got moved forward.
It’s easy to call this a series of unfortunate events, but in all reality, it’s just called life.

Chaos is inevitable but manageable nonetheless.
